Visa Application

If you need an official invitation letter for visa application, please send your request to Xiaoyu Chen with the following information:

  • Name, as it appears on your passport
  • Affiliation
  • Mailing address
  • Reason for attending AISC 2018 (PC member, author, guest, etc.)

A scanned electronic copy of the invitation letter will be sent to you via e-mail. A hard copy will be sent to you by mail as well, if necessary.

Travelling to Suzhou

There are many options traveling to Suzhou, which provide an opportunity for interesting stop-overs, such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Wuxi, before or after the conference. Detailed information can be found here.

* If you take a flight to Shanghai, you have to notice your arrival airport:

  • if your arrival airport is Shanghai Pudong International Airport, then you should take metro line 2 from Pudong International Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (it takes 95 minutes, costs 8 CNY, and you can vist here to query Shanghai Metro lines);
  • if your arrival airport is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (Terminal 1), then you should take metro line 10 from Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (it takes 10 minutes, costs 3 CNY);
  • if your arrival airport is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (Terminal 2, recommended), then you can walk to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (about 10 minutes);

and then take high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Suzhou or Suzhou North Station (the train ticket can be queried and ordered at www.trip.com), and finally take a taxi from Suzhou or Suzhou North Station to Qingshan Hotel.

* If you take a flight to Sunan Shuofang International Airport (in Wuxi), then you can take a taxi from the airport to Qingshan Hotel directly.
