Title: An exploration to non-NN style deep learning
Abstract:
Deep learning is a hot topic during the past few years. To most people, the word "deep learning" is a synonym of "deep neural networks" (deep NNs). In this talk, we will present a discussion about essentials in deep learning, and claim that deep learning is not necessarily to be realized by neural network models. We will then present an exploration to non-NN style deep learning.
